Daily Sketch #2: Pedi Baby
I have no idea why I'm on a girly craze, since I haven't been since I was 5 years old, but I'm LOVING it! Hot pink, frills, roses, bows, rococo molding, baroque prints, nail polish, toe care, the whole she-bang! [wordplay-intended!]
I never had a manicure or pedicure done professionally, as I feel I'm self-sufficient enough to file, paint, and tend to my own nails. This is me in my fantasy room with satin pjs that I actually own~ [in pink!]

Daily Sketch #1: Horoscope Caster
Let's see how long I can keep these sketches "daily!" Practicing drawing, cleaning lines, and basic tone for suggested light sources.
Theme is PJs--may do a series on this since I'm always in pjs when I'm home and have many different styles and designs of sleepwear. Today's motif is Astronomy and stellar objects that we can't see up close, but the connection between us stardust Earth-inhabiters is ethereal and infinite. In this image, it's almost like witchcraft; that's how I feel about what's beyond the immediate world we live in. Also, I wish I could wake up looking this sexy...!

101th POST: Thank you, WDAS~
It's been a while~
I went on a magical 14 month journey at the Walt Disney Animation Studios. I got to be a part of the stereo conversion of The Little Mermaid 3D, a Mickey Mouse Short film ”Get a Horse!” and finally, the 2013 Thanksgiving feature film, Frozen. It was an absolute pleasure working with Production and the Animation Department, and I will be in close contact. Now, it is time to buckle down and figure out what I love doing.
This is how brought home my cube's contents, setting off into the brave world, newly changed:

HAPPY 2013!
I've officially passed my probation period, so it's safe to say I am a true full-time member of the Mouse House! This piece is what I wish I looked like--my first take on an exaggerated caricature and soft rim lighting. It also represents the second secret project I'm working on. >wink<
