Daily Sketch #4: Jazz Baby

This sketch is based on the dress I wore to the event.  It's fun to imagine having legs this long!  ...Or to have the photographer as the center stage instead of behind the lens!

The background is also based on the actual runway that was made at the Cicada Club in Downtown LA.

So, I've already broken the "daily" streak, as expected--but it's for a good cause!  It's barely been two weeks since I started a new journey on October 1st, and it's already been insanely crazy with overtime!

I am now Sue Wong's Graphic Designer, House Photographer, and Web / Social Media Assistant.  We just had her Spring Collection 2014:  'JAZZ BABIES' Fashion Show this past Wednesday night [10.09.2013].

My first project as a Graphic Designer was to create the JAZZ BABIES Program--which I did in two days!  Sue Wong was inspired by the Jazz Age, the 1920's nostalgic classic era of music, cinema, and the femme fatale.  These sepia images represent Sue Wong's inspiration for her Spring Collection 2014.  Viewers are transported to cities around the work by experiencing the stunning visuals of her dresses:
